Welcome to JYS Sign & Print Co. These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through our website, custom quotes, invoices, order forms and other transactions with JYS Sign & Print Co. By placing an order, paying an invoice, approving a proof or authorizing production, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to these terms and all related policies referenced on our website.

Custom Products

Most JYS Sign & Print Co. products are custom-manufactured specifically for each customer. This may include custom sizing, printing, cutting, routing, finishing, engraving, fabrication or other personalization.

Because custom products are produced specifically for you, orders are generally final sale once design or production has begun, except where JYS determines that a verified production error occurred.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order information before submitting payment, including:

  • Product selection
  • Material
  • Size and dimensions
  • Quantity
  • Shipping address
  • Uploaded artwork
  • Names, dates and spelling
  • Requested production specifications
  • Event or deadline information

JYS Sign & Print Co. is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer.

Quotes

Quotes are based on the information available at the time they are prepared.

A quote may change if:

  • Dimensions change
  • Quantities change
  • Materials change
  • Design requirements change
  • Finishing or fabrication requirements change
  • Shipping requirements change
  • Installation requirements change
  • Project scope changes

Unless otherwise stated, a quote does not reserve production capacity until payment or the required deposit has been received.

Payment

Payment is required before production unless written payment terms have been established between JYS Sign & Print Co. and the customer.

Orders are not considered confirmed until required payment has been received.

For larger custom projects, JYS may require a deposit with the remaining balance due before production, shipment, delivery or installation.

Pricing Errors

We make every effort to ensure website pricing and quotes are accurate.

If a technical error, website malfunction, incorrect configuration or obvious pricing mistake results in an inaccurate price, JYS Sign & Print Co. reserves the right to cancel the transaction and issue a refund rather than fulfill the order at the incorrect price.

Proof Approval

When a proof is required, production will not begin until the customer provides approval.

Proof approval constitutes authorization to produce the order as shown. Additional requirements are outlined in our Proof, Artwork & Color Policy.

Production Timelines

Production timelines are estimates unless JYS expressly agrees in writing to a guaranteed production deadline.

Production time does not include:

  • Design time
  • Proofing time
  • Time awaiting customer information
  • Weekends
  • Holidays
  • Shipping or carrier transit time

Customer-Supplied Measurements

JYS produces products according to the dimensions submitted or approved by the customer.

Customers are responsible for verifying measurements for windows, walls, doors, mirrors, displays, signage areas and other installation surfaces.

JYS is not responsible for products that do not fit because incorrect dimensions were supplied by the customer.

Any reprint caused by incorrect customer-provided measurements will be considered a new order.

Installation

Unless installation is specifically included in a written quote or invoice, all products are sold as print-only products.

Customers performing their own installation, or using a third-party installer, assume responsibility for installation.

JYS is not responsible for:

  • Installation errors
  • Improper surface preparation
  • Damage caused during third-party installation
  • Vinyl installed on unsuitable surfaces
  • Products damaged during customer handling or installation

Installation services provided by JYS are subject to separate project requirements and availability.

Material Performance

Material performance varies depending on application, handling, installation and environment.

Factors may include:

  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Direct sunlight
  • Wind
  • Moisture
  • Surface condition
  • Cleaning chemicals
  • Storage
  • Installation quality
  • Indoor versus outdoor use

Any durability estimate is an expected range under normal conditions and is not a guarantee of an exact lifespan unless expressly stated in writing.

Customer-Supplied Artwork and Intellectual Property

By submitting artwork, photographs, logos, trademarks, illustrations, names or other creative materials, the customer represents that they own the material or have authorization to reproduce it.

The customer is responsible for obtaining necessary permissions and licenses.

JYS Sign & Print Co. is not responsible for copyright, trademark, publicity-right or other intellectual-property claims resulting from customer-supplied content.

JYS reserves the right to decline work that we reasonably believe may violate applicable law or the rights of another party.

JYS-Created Designs

Custom design work created by JYS may not be reproduced, resold, transferred to another printer or commercially reused unless those rights are expressly included in the customer's agreement or purchased separately.

Payment for a printed product does not automatically constitute transfer of ownership of editable design files, templates or production files.

Photography and Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, JYS may photograph completed products and use those photographs to showcase our printing, fabrication and production capabilities in our website, portfolio, social media or marketing materials.

Customers with confidential, embargoed or unreleased projects should notify JYS in writing before production.

Refusal of Service

JYS Sign & Print Co. reserves the right to decline or cancel an order when necessary, including situations involving:

  • Illegal content
  • Fraud
  • Intellectual-property concerns
  • Abusive conduct
  • Safety concerns
  • Production limitations
  • Material incompatibility
  • Projects outside our capabilities

If JYS cancels a project before work has been performed, applicable payments will be refunded.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JYS Sign & Print Co.'s liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid to JYS for the affected product or service.

JYS is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost business, missed events, venue costs, installation costs or other expenses arising from delays, damage or product issues, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Force Majeure

JYS is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, power outages, carrier disruptions, equipment failures, supply-chain interruptions, natural disasters, government actions or other extraordinary events.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the State of Texas, without limiting any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
