TURNAROUND, RUSH ORDERS & ORDER CHANGES POLICY
Effective Date: August 30, 2026
We know deadlines matter. This policy explains how JYS production timelines are calculated.
Production Time vs. Delivery Time
Production time and shipping time are separate.
An estimated turnaround of, for example, two or three business days refers to production, not necessarily the date the order will arrive at the customer's location.
Total project timing may include:
Design → Proofing → Approval → Production → Shipping → Delivery
Customers should consider all stages when planning for an event, campaign or deadline.
When Production Begins
Unless otherwise stated, production begins after JYS has received:
- Full payment or required deposit
- Required artwork
- Required dimensions
- Final customer information
- Proof approval, when applicable
An incomplete order is not considered ready for production.
Business Days
Business days do not include:
- Saturdays
- Sundays
- Federal holidays
- JYS-observed closures
Orders placed late in the day may begin processing the following business day.
Product-specific turnaround times shown on the website or quote take precedence over general estimates.
Estimated Completion Dates
Completion and shipment dates are estimates unless JYS specifically agrees in writing to a guaranteed deadline.
Unexpected circumstances may affect production schedules, including equipment issues, material availability and high order volume.
If a significant delay occurs, our team will communicate available options.
Rush Orders
Rush production may be available for certain products and is subject to:
- Current production capacity
- Material availability
- Artwork readiness
- Proof approval
- Product complexity
Rush fees compensate for priority production and are generally non-refundable once rush processing has begun.
Important
Rush production does not automatically include rush shipping.
Customers requiring expedited transit must also select or purchase an appropriate shipping method.
Changes Before Production
Order changes requested before production begins may be accommodated.
Depending on the change, additional charges may apply for:
- Design
- Setup
- Material
- Quantity
- Size
- Finishing
- Rush production
- Shipping
Changes After Production Begins
Once production begins, materials and labor have been committed to the order.
Changes may therefore require:
- Stopping production when possible
- Additional charges
- Replacement materials
- A new production timeline
- Reproduction of completed components
JYS is not obligated to reproduce products free of charge when the customer requests a change after approval.
Delayed Customer Response
JYS is not responsible for missed timelines resulting from delayed customer responses, including delays in:
- Proof approval
- Providing dimensions
- Supplying final artwork
- Providing names or lists
- Answering production questions
The projected completion date may be adjusted accordingly.
Event Dates
We encourage customers to order well in advance of events.
Providing an event date helps our team understand your project, but providing that date does not constitute a delivery guarantee unless JYS expressly agrees to one in writing.
